The speech follows a year-long effort by Congressman Flood and others who called on streaming services to carry C-SPAN as satellite and cable providers do.

LINCOLN, NEBRASKA – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood announced Madison Middle School student Avery Stueckrath as the winner of the 2025 Congressional App Challenge for Nebraska’s First District.
Stueckrath designed a webpage using JavaScript to showcase her coding skills by illustrating scenes and images of herself, her hobbies, and her cats through custom-designed shapes.
“Every year, I am impressed by the talent and skills our schools are developing across the First District,” said Congressman Flood.
