Weather Enterprise Caucus

Background
The Congressional Weather Enterprise Caucus was first launched in the 119th Congress. Reps. Mike Flood (NE-01) and Eric Sorensen (IL-17) currently serve as co-chairs.
The Weather Enterprise Caucus is a bipartisan group of Members of Congress dedicated to advancing the 'Weather Enterprise’ — the collaboration of government, industry, and academia that drives weather forecasting, research, weatherization efforts, and related sectors.
By educating their congressional colleagues and advocating for policies that strengthen the broader Weather Enterprise, the caucus seeks to encourage investment, innovation, and continued support for this crucial sector.
