WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood wrote to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) to urge them to extend the deadline to submit any broadband serviceable location fabric and availability challenges to the FCC’s broadband maps until March 14, 2023.

H.R. 23, also known as the Family and Small Business Taxpayer Protection Act, rescinds $80 billion of resources that would have allowed the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to hire 87,000 new agents.
