Congressman Flood Votes to Condemn President Biden’s Border Management

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood issued a statement following a vote on H. Res. 957, a resolution denouncing the Biden administration’s open-borders policies, condemning the national security and public safety crisis along the southwest border, and urging President Biden to end his administration’s open-borders policies.
“The Biden administration has sent a loud and clear message to the world: Our borders are open and there’s no need to follow the law. The result has been record levels of illegal crossings and an out-of-control humanitarian crisis along the southern border. The President’s policy has been a complete disaster.”
“Strong borders help ensure America remains a free and safe country – one that’s strong and stable enough to welcome hardworking people from other countries who follow the law and our legal immigration system. Today’s vote sends a message to President Biden that his current border policy has been a complete failure, and he must change course.”
Congressman Flood recently visited the southern border. Details about his visit can be found here. A copy of H. Res. 957 can be found here.
