Congressman Flood: “Secretary Mayorkas has a lot to answer for”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood delivered comments about his recent trip to the U.S.-Mexico border during the House Republican Leadership Stakeout.

Rep. Flood recently returned from Eagle Pass, Texas, where he along with more than 60 Members of the House saw firsthand how the Biden administration’s reckless policies have exacerbated the humanitarian crisis on the southern border.

In May, House Republicans passed H.R. 2, also known as the Secure the Border Act of 2023. An outline of the legislation can be found here. Senate Democrats have refused to take action on the legislation.
