Rep. Flood Votes to Strengthen U.S. Armed Forces, Support Offutt Air Force Base

December 11, 2024

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood issued a statement following the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

“This year’s NDAA delivers a 14.5% pay raise for junior service members to help with recruitment and retention, while also controlling spending by phasing out billions in Pentagon waste and outdated programs. This bill includes critical resources to support STRATCOM and Offutt Air Force Base in the coming year, including resources for a consolidated training complex and professional development center. I urge the Senate to act quickly, so that the President can sign the NDAA into law before the holidays.”
