Rep. Flood, State Sen. Dover Celebrate Millions in New US-275 Expressway Funding

May 6, 2024

STANTON, NEBRASKA – On Friday, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood and State Senator Rob Dover of Norfolk hosted a news conference to highlight $70 million in new funding for the US-275 expressway project and talk about what this means for the future of Northeast Nebraska communities. The project has been converting the existing two-lane highway into a four-lane expressway.

Currently, the Nebraska Department of Transportation is finishing construction on the West Point to Scribner portion of the US-275 expressway, which is projected to be completed this year. After this portion is completed, additional miles of expressway on US-275 remain and these resources will support its long-awaited completion.
