April 18, 2023

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Mike Flood (R-Nebraska) and Congressman Joe Neguse (D-Colorado) announced the formation of the Congressional Bipartisan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Caucus as a Congressional Member Organization for the 118th Congress.

The Congressional Bipartisan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Caucus will serve as an informal group of Members dedicated to discussing and collaborating on changes to federal policy to drive America’s innovation economy and to be more supportive of emerging entrepreneurial communities across our country.

“Organizations across the First District, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to Northeast Community College, are incubating the next generation of startups and entrepreneurs,” said Congressman Mike Flood. “The Congressional Bipartisan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Caucus will serve as a venue for Members across the political spectrum to come together to support the future of small business in America. It’s an honor to relaunch this caucus in conjunction with Rep. Neguse and we invite our colleagues to join us as we support the next generation of American entrepreneurs.”

“Colorado has long been known for innovation and entrepreneurship. From our world class institutions like CU and CSU, our federal labs, and our thriving aerospace and technology industries, Colorado is positioned to be an innovation hub for years to come,” said Congressman Joe Neguse. “I am excited to re-launch the bipartisan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Caucus and work to bolster economic growth and entrepreneurship across our country.”

Representative Neguse and Representative Flood will serve as Co-Chairs of the Congressional Bipartisan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Caucus.
