WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood issued a statement ahead of Nebraska’s Statehood Day, which is celebrated on March 1st.
“156 years in, Nebraska continues to set the bar for key sectors of the American economy from ag processing to sports management technology. We are the Beef State, the top state for popcorn, and the number one state for agricultural cash receipts per capita. We build rail cars, create center pivots, and forge steel. But the heart of the Good Life is the character of our people and the grit, tenacity, and the family values that have built this state and grown it through the years.
