Congressman Flood’s Office to Hold Military Service Academy Days in Norfolk and Bellevue

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood announced his office will hold Military Service Academy Days in Norfolk and Bellevue. This is an opportunity for high school students to learn more about the application process to become a commissioned officer through one of our country’s five service academies: the U.S. Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, Coast Guard Academy, and Merchant Marine Academy.

Applicants to the academies, excluding the Coast Guard Academy, must be nominated by a Member of Congress. These academy days are being cohosted with U.S. Senators Fischer and Ricketts’ offices.
