Congressman Flood’s Office is Accepting Congressional Art Challenge Submissions

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood announced that his office is now accepting submissions for the 2025 Congressional Art Competition for Nebraska’s First District. The competition is held annually by each Congressional office.
The Congressional Art Competition is open to all high school students in Nebraska’s First Congressional District. The winning artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol alongside other winners from across the country. Runner-up submissions will be showcased in either his Washington, D.C. office or his Lincoln district office.
“Every year, I am impressed by the artistic talent of Nebraskan students,” said Congressman Flood. “It’s always an honor to celebrate and showcase their remarkable work—especially in our nation’s Capitol. I look forward to seeing the incredible pieces our students create.”
All submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by an independent panel of art professionals. The deadline for submissions is March 21, 2025. More information about the 2025 Congressional Art Challenge can be found here.
