This is Congressman Mike Flood.
I would like to take a moment to wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.
This weekend, we celebrate the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice protecting and defending the United States of America.
From the beaches of Normandy to the deserts in Afghanistan, America’s heroes stepped up to defend our country and way of life.
Our nation is great today thanks to generations of soldiers who have dedicated their lives to America.
On Memorial Day, we honor their sacrifice and reflect on the great legacy they leave behind.
As we remember and reflect, let’s never forget the families our heroes have left behind. They too have sacrificed so much, and they need our continued support.
However you plan to celebrate, I encourage you to travel safely and have a great weekend.
