Congressman Flood Votes to Support U.S. Military Members & Strengthen America’s National Security

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood issued a statement following the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). 

“Our U.S. Service Members protect our nation every day, and our country needs to ensure they have a great quality of life. This year’s NDAA provides a much-needed pay increase for service members, access to healthcare, and critical oversight of federal defense spending – all while saving American taxpayers billions of dollars and making key investments to ensure our country guards our interests against the aims of the Chinese Communist Party. I applaud the work of leadership in getting this important priority through the House, and strongly urge the Senate to take it up and pass it quickly.”
