Congressman Flood Votes to Keep Government Working for the People

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Mike Flood released the statement below following the passage of the two-step continuing resolution.

“Keeping the government open ensures that our soldiers, sailors, Air Force, and Marines get paid while they serve overseas protecting our freedoms as America celebrates Thanksgiving,” Rep. Flood said. “Additionally, this staggered plan puts our country on a path to controlling spending, giving Congress time to finish work on the 12 appropriations bills.
