WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood issued a statement following the release of President Joe Biden’s $6.8 billion budget.

“President Biden has already pushed through trillions in new spending and this reckless new proposal outlines trillions more. To help fund his latest wish list, President Biden is proposing trillions in new taxes, which will be shouldered by American families. We’ve already endured record inflation that’s been eroding the wages and buying power of working families, and this new spending will only exacerbate the pain we’ve been feeling over the past couple of years under the Biden Administration. It’s time to get federal spending under control, and I’ll keep fighting alongside House Republicans to do that as we work to stop the overspending of liberal Washington Democrats.”
