Congressman Flood Slams Biden’s Border Mismanagement

LINCOLN, NEBRASKA – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood issued a statement regarding the reopening of rail crossings on the U.S.-Mexico border.

“Closing rail crossings only to reopen them days later under pressure is just the latest example of Secretary Mayorkas’ mismanagement of border policy. I’m glad he reopened the crossings, however, they never should have been shut in the first place. This decision only added chaos and needless complexity to an already busy holiday season. President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas need to put their focus on getting control of our border and building the wall instead of shutting down transportation that’s critical to our economy.”
