Congressman Flood Pushes for Secure, Affordable, and Reliable Energy Sources

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Mike Flood recently made comments during a hearing on the House Oversight and Reform Committee. During his comments, Congressman Flood highlighted the critical need for secure, affordable, and reliable energy sources, pointing to the consequences that Europe has faced from destabilizing its power grid. 

“A failure to utilize affordable and reliable sources of energy will inevitably lead to economic problems. We need a well-balanced approach to energy,” said U.S. Congressman Mike Flood. “Renewables can — and should — be a part of that approach. But this Administration seems intent to pursue a path forward with only renewables.”
