LINCOLN, NEBRASKA – Today, Congressman Mike Flood issued a statement after the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued a new Waters of the U.S. (WOTUS) rule.
“The Biden Administration continues to refuse to listen to ag producers and the states that have given ongoing feedback about changes to the WOTUS rule for years now. Their actions after the Supreme Court’s ruling are telling: They’ve made bare minimum modifications to the rule and re-issued it without taking public comment – a move that is highly unusual. This fight isn’t over. I’ll keep pushing to roll back WOTUS, slash red tape, and protect our ag producers, job creators, and all Americans from the Biden Administration’s ongoing overreach.”
