Congressman Flood Introduces Resolution Designating October as “Manufacturing Month”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Recently, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood introduced a resolution designating October as “Manufacturing Month” across the country.

“Manufacturing is Nebraska’s second largest industry and is one of our nation’s largest,” said Rep. Flood. “In Nebraska alone, manufacturers employ about 10 percent of the workforce and create thousands of jobs across the state. On behalf of the people of Nebraska’s First Congressional District, I want to extend our sincere thanks to all of the manufacturers all around America who are helping make our communities a great place to live, work and raise a family.
