Congressman Flood to Host Bellevue Chief of Police for State of the Union

March 5, 2024

LINCOLN, NEBRASKA – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood announced that he would host Bellevue Police Chief Ken Clary as his guest for President Biden’s annual State of the Union address on March 7, 2024, in Washington, D.C. Each Member of Congress can host a guest for the special occasion.

“Since national unrest tore through America’s urban centers in 2020, Nebraska has doubled down on our commitment to supporting our men and women in blue,” said Congressman Flood. “I’m proud to host Bellevue’s Chief of Police Ken Clary at the State of the Union. Under his leadership, Bellevue’s police department has been pursuing innovative strategies to recruit and retain the next generation of law enforcement officers. His presence here in Washington will help us continue to get the message out that Nebraska Backs the Blue – we’re the best state in the nation for law enforcement officers, and we want more from across the country to make their home here.”
