Congressman Flood Highlights CCP Surveillance at Financial Services Hearing

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Recently, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood questioned Tom Feddo, a former Assistant Secretary for Investment Security for the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), as the Chinese Communist Party continues to use anything and everything at their disposal to conduct surveillance within our country.

“We are engaged in a great power struggle. We must ensure that some of the very traits that make this country great, such as the openness of our markets, cannot be used against us in this struggle,” Rep. Flood said.
