Congressman Flood Congratulates Bellevue on Major Development Groundbreaking

BELLEVUE, NE - On Thursday, Congressman Mike Flood attended the groundbreaking of the Bridge Flats in the new Frontier District in Bellevue. 

 “Young people want to work and play where they live, and they want development in the core of communities,” Congressman Flood said, “It’s happening across the state and to have it happen here, in Nebraska’s oldest continuous city, is very exciting.” 

The 52-unit apartment complex is the first project to revitalize the historic Old Towne Bellevue area. The first floor of the space will be used for retail and businesses. This building will help enhance and expand the city of Bellevue. 

The Frontier District will echo Old Towne’s charm while becoming a modern hub for the growing city. 

While Congressman Flood was in town, he also visited Bellevue University, Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, and the El Camino Latino Center.
