Congressman Flood: Biden Parties While Inflation Only Getting Worse

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Mike Flood issued a statement following news that inflation rose 8.3% in August compared to the previous year. 

“Today’s numbers underscore just how much Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi’s spending spree continues to worsen inflation,” said Congressman Flood. “It’s simply poetic that Biden has decided to throw a party celebrating the Inflation Reduction Act – which I call the Inflation Expansion Act – at the White House today. This legislation’s billions of dollars in new spending will not only increase inflation, but it will also grow government and make it harder for working families to make ends meet.”
