Congressman Flood Announces Flyover Fintech Panel on “Web 3.0 & DeFi”

LINCOLN, NEBRASKA – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood announced Flyover Fintech will include a panel on “Web 3.0 & DeFi.” The panel, featuring experts from Multicoin Capital and Galaxy Ventures, will happen at the Congressman’s Flyover Fintech conference in Lincoln on October 21, 2024. 

“The momentum behind Web 3.0 continues to grow as more people look to the next generation of internet,” said Congressman Flood. “This panel features trailblazers from Multicoin and Galaxy Ventures pioneering decentralized web technologies and decentralized finance. Jay Stolkin is Deputy General Counsel at Multicoin Capital, a thesis-driven, crypto-focused private fund manager. At Multicoin, Jay leads financing transactions, advises portfolio companies and counsels on a variety of corporate and regulatory matters. Prior to joining Multicoin, Jay was the General Counsel at Framework Ventures, another crypto-focused investment firm. Before Framework, Jay was in private practice at Paul Hastings, where he represented Web3 and sports industry clients in a variety of corporate transactions and regulatory matters.

 Neil Bhuta is an Investor at Galaxy Ventures. He focuses on investments across crypto-enabled payments, software, blockchain infrastructure, and DeFi applications. Prior to Galaxy, Neil worked at DCG where he spent his time on crypto investment activities across all stages. Neil started his career in M&A at Evercore and worked in long-short equity at Governors Lane.
