Congressman Flood Announces Flyover Fintech Panel on “AI & Housing”

LINCOLN, NEBRASKA – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood announced Flyover Fintech will include a panel on “AI & Housing.” The panel, featuring industry leaders from Bilt Rewards, Rocket Mortgage, Zest AI, and Zillow, will happen at the Congressman’s Flyover Fintech Conference in Lincoln on October 21, 2024.

Hilary Halpern is the Head of Public Policy at Rocket Mortgage. In this role, Hilary is responsible for the development of public policy positions and messaging at both the federal and state level across all of Rocket Companies. Hilary joined Rocket from the Mindset Group, where she developed policy strategy and analysis for clients across the financial services industry. She has also worked for Sen. Mike Rounds (R-SD) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and began her career with Sen. John McCain (R-AZ).
Jonathan Lawless is the Head of Homeownership at Bilt Rewards, the first-ever rewards program that allows renters to earn points on rent and builds a path towards homeownership. In his role, Jonathan develops solutions to support renters and help them become homeowners. Prior to that, he was a senior executive at Fannie Mae in modeling and analytics and then led product development and affordable housing.

His experiences converge to show his capacity to lead organizations in translating data into insights that enable the betterment of consumers’ lives.
Michael Dendas serves as Zillow’s Senior Manager of Government Relations. Mike’s deep expertise in housing advocacy is the foundation of his leadership role on Zillow’s Government Relations team. In this role, he helps to develop and drive the company’s federal strategy and is dedicated to championing pro-consumer modernization within the housing sector.
