LINCOLN, NEBRASKA – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood issued a statement after news that Iran had launched a significant attack on Israel. 

“Almost one year after the horrific attacks by Hamas, Iran has launched a new, abhorrent assault on Israel. America’s friendship with Israel is more important than ever as they continue to defend their people and their sovereignty. This didn’t have to happen. The weakness projected by the Biden-Harris administration contributed to this moment. This administration handed billions of dollars to Iran in the last couple of years, repeating the mistake made by the terrible Iran deal cut by the Obama-Biden administration. America will continue to do whatever we need to support Israel in their fight against Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran.”
