Congressman Flood Accepting Applications for His 2025 Fall Internship Program in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood announced his office is taking applications for the fall internship program with his Washington, D.C. office.
“I’m happy to announce that my team is now accepting applications for our fall internship program in Washington, D.C.,” said Congressman Flood. “Our program offers interns a comprehensive understanding Congress at work, along with impactful, hands-on experience right in our nation’s capital.”
Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside each team with the office’s full-time congressional staff. The internship curriculum leaves interns with an understanding of how a congressional office administers constituent services, produces communications, its operations, works on legislative affairs, and conducts committee work.
Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to attend congressional hearings, policy briefings, guest speaker events, exhibits, as well as networking opportunities on Capitol Hill.
The deadline to apply for the fall internship is June 27th. The internship will run from August 25th through December 12th. Graphic design and writing experience are valued. Examples may be submitted with your resume.
Students and recent graduates with ties to Nebraska’s first congressional district will receive first consideration. Full details about the internship program along with a brochure can be found here.
