Rep. Flood Applauds Recent Supreme Court Decision Narrowing NEPA Application

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Mike Flood issued a statement following news that the U.S. Supreme Court had recently issued a unanimous decision regarding application of the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA). 

“The application of NEPA has long held up critical infrastructure and housing projects across the country. Environmental activists have weaponized the courts to slow progress on critical housing and infrastructure projects. The Supreme Court’s decision last week helps smooth the process and will curtail the use of frivolous lawsuits to cripple economic growth. We must continue to look for ways to speed up NEPA permitting so that communities have certainty and can move forward on projects that are key to growing their future.”
