Congressman Flood Votes to Provide Aid to Israel in the Fight Against Hamas

February 6, 2024

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood voted for the Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act which provides $17.6 billion to our ally Israel for military assistance and to fund costs incurred by the U.S. military for support in the region.

“The decision by House Democrats to block Israel aid is nothing short of political. Last year, Democrats complained that House Republicans offset the cost of Israel aid. This new bill answered their objection. Now they have moved the goalposts, playing politics while Israel continues to wait for America to act. It’s long overdue for America to step up and provide much-needed aid to our friend and ally as they continue to do everything necessary to eliminate Hamas and the people who committed heinous acts of terrorism on October 7th.”
